Battlefield 4 teases soldiers, female revealed

Latest teaser images reveal Asian female soldier and what appears to the the Support class in Battlefield 4

Another day, another Battlefield 4 teaser. Yesterday we saw the city of Shanghai, and the day before we got a glimpse of an aircraft carrier. Today, DICE revealed two more images on the official Battlefield 4 website. The first is an image of a female Asian soldier, the second shows a US soldier holding his light machine gun.

This adds to the rumors that female soldiers will be featured in Battlefield 4, although it’s uncertain whether they will be playable, and whether they’ll be playable in the Battlefield 4 multiplayer portion. Check out both new images below. The second one of the male soldier kind of reminds us of the crew in Bad Company 2.

On the other hand, the male soldier could be a hint at one of the Battlefield 4 classes, likely the Support class. He also carries a weapon which looks a lot like the M249 SAW.

Stay tuned for more teasers, as they’ll likely be rolling in over the next week, all the way until the official unveiling of the game on March 26.

Nah. I bet they’re adding character customization. It’s the one thing Battlefield hasn’t touched on yet.

I think that the female soldier will be a singleplayer character, I don’t expect DICE to make to many big steps like gender options or more then 64 players with the new battlefield.

It’ll be some steps, but not perfect ones nor many.
Instead, they will leave out enough so that you will buy BF5, which will then add the “improved” stuff.

The same reason why they don’t allow mods, you’ll be forced to buy premium. “It’s a good deal, so why not?” Simple, mods whould give you excess to even more “DLC” which whould be worked on by fans much longer then just a year by DICE. And that makes sense, the gamers make mods for the sake of fun, not money. A company with profit as a goal can’t possibly win against that.

@Probability yep you speak the truth my friend. NO MOD SUPPORT because dice and ea are a bunch of greedy money whores. If they are smart and have some sense of good in their hearts this time they will release mod tools to the community.
