The names and details of 3 new expansion packs have been revealed, plus a brand new trailer for Premium.

New Battlefield 4 DLCDICE is really pushing out a lot of Battlefield 4 news at GamesCom today. Not only did we get two trailers and some screenshots (and the new map, Paracel Storm), they’ve also announced all of the DLC that will be released over the next year or two. They’ve revealed three new expansion packs, which will join the two previously announced expansions: Second Assault, and China Rising.

Furthermore, a new Battlefield 4 premium trailer has been released. Premium will still cost $50, and it looks like gamers will get a lot for their money, with weekly new content, new BattlePacks, and much more. Without further ado, check out the new DLC and trailer below:

So there will be approximately 20 DLC maps, plus the expected 8-10 vanilla so approx. 28-30 maps

I recommend reordering them in the article to reflect order of release:

    – Naval Strike – Chinese armada takes fight to the seas.
    – Dragon’s Teeth – US strikes back in urban combat.
    – Final Stand – Epic conclusion of the war.

I don’t really like to have a lot of naval combat involve on the game if for some reason your vehicle gets destroy you need to swim the whole map and that doesn’t sound fun to me.

Gulf of Oman, is B2K, so that won’t be in Second Assault.
My personal list is: Caspian Border, Kharg Island, Grand Bazaar and Seine Crossing.
I would be quite disappointed if it turned out to be: Operation Metro, Noshahr Canals, Operation Firestorm, Caspian Border…

Russian PAK-FA T-50 in “Paracel Storm” as well as, surprisingly, he is fighting against the Chinese J-20 fighter, although navigation is shown on the battlefield fighting US vs CN

Pretty sure they’ll just toss us a dogtag or one single camo for a single weapon per week and call it ‘weekly content’.

But how Can Caspian Border, operation SHITstorm and Gulf of Omfg be people’s favorits?? They suck and made BF3 the most random game ever with all those crappy vehicles.

More Bazaar, Taleh Market, Ziba and so on. That’s what FPS is about

That’s what other FPS’s are about. BF was always about the medium/large battlescenes. The maps you named are all medium/CQB like all the other FPS’s

operation prismack and operation temporage should be included as well, killing nsa and gchq compounds, wiping spy organizations off the map
