Nvidia releases new driver for Battlefield 4 beta

Nvidia has released a new driver tailored for the upcoming BF4 beta.

Battlefield 4 Nvidia driversThe Battlefield 4 beta launches tomorrow, and Nvidia has released new drivers tailored for the beta. The Nvidia drivers, called 331.40 Beta, are now available for download. As Nvidia puts it, the new driver “ensures maximum performance and stability” with the game. The new driver also includes new settings for Ambient Occlusion and HBAO+. You can read more about the drivers and download them here.

We’re not sure if AMD will release a similar driver for the beta, but they have confirmed that new drivers optimized for Battlefield 4 will be released when the game launches.

EA has opened up for pre-load of the Battlefield 4 beta, which launches tomorrow at 10 AM (PST) for BF3 Premium users and those who pre-ordered Battlefield 4. The open beta starts on October 4th. The beta ends on October 15th.

          According to and adapted from Origin, the exclusive beta unlocks at 0900 GMT.

      Hmmm, because clearly, using a Mouse and Keyboard is infinitely more difficult than an analog stick.

        It’s pretty obvious that BL posts primarily flame/troll posts.
        Just take a quick gander at what mosts of his posts contain.
        Blatant PC elitism at it’s finest (lowest?).
        With that being said, my point is to not give him the attention he so desperatly craves.
        It does not matter if you are playing on a PC or a console.
        We are all here to enjoy the games, and I for one, am VERY happy that Battlefield 4 is on consoles! Both current and next, and I am also a PC gamer primarily, I just don’t spout unfounded, biased opinions against things I don’t like.
