Battlefield 4 Megalodon Easter Egg found in Naval Strike

The giant shark has finally been found in the new expansion pack.

BF4 Megalodon

There have been a lot of fan-made rumors and funny anecdotes about a possible Megalodon Easter Egg in Battlefield 4. A few months ago, the Internet was filled with poorly photoshopped Megalodon sharks on Battlefield 4 maps such as Paracel Storm. And DICE was very aware of the trend.

DICE was apparently so impressed with fans’ obsession with the Megalodon, that they added an Easter Egg featuring the shark in Naval Strike. Specifically, the giant shark can be found on the map Nansha Strike, where it leaps out of water and promptly explodes when it hits the water again.

Check out a video below of the Megalodon:

HOLY COW. I Love it! Only downside is you need 9 of your closest friends to do this.

Soooooooo, they can add silly but fun stuff like this but not address the issues that many people are still having? What integrity.

WOW, you’re seriously complaining about them adding in a popular gag (which would probably take 1 guy like an hour to code/implement)…? Instead of complaining here on a light hearted gesture, why not take it to them instead? …or upgrade your computer/internet.

Oh yay! You can code linear scripted events DICE.
Now try addressing the issues that your game has rather than adding gimmicks to the game.
The players who are happy about this are like raccoons, easily distracted by shiny objects.
They added it in because it was viral.
Like the phantom project, it’s a way to get positive publicity after so, so so so much negative.
