Battlefield 4 Final Stand release date set for November 18

12
Final Stand finally gets a final release date.

FS-618x347

The last Battlefield 4 DLC, Final Stand, will be released on November 18. If that date sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same date that Grand Theft Auto 5 and Dragon Age Inquisition will be released as well. Pretty big day for video games.

Battlefield 4 Final Stand launches on November 18 for Premium owners and two weeks later for regular players. Final Stand features a somewhat futuristic setting reminiscent of BF2142, with snowy landscapes and high-tech weaponry.

Final Stand includes four new maps — Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Hangar 21, and Giants of Karelia — and several new weapons. The biggest additions are the new hovertank and the railgun — the most powerful weapon in the game.

The DLC will be free of charge to Premium members, while everyone else will have to pay $15. Final Stand looks to be the most polished expansion to date, as it’s been in testing by players and DICE for months now in the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment.

the 27 of jan is two days away from my B-Day and GTA V will be the only game i play for some time…. F*CK EA, they can go and suck a d*ck for all i care at least rockstargames finish their products before they release them.

they dont need to beat COD… they just need to produce a fun game to get people to buy it

“The DLC will be free of charge to Premium members…”

What is free of charge?! I was charged for this DLC when i paid for BF4 Premium, how can it then be free.

Nothing is free with Battlefield 4, it’s the most expensive game in history.

We even paid for all the bugs and all the stuff we didn’t get. Now we have to pay by waiting for Dice to fix the game.

When the game is over we still be paying with all the trauma EA put us through until the day we die for real.

Because it would be kind of misleading if they said you had to pay for it as a premium member. You did pay for it, but you don’t have to buy it when it comes out tomorrow if you’re premium.

    Enough of this, guys!
I’m a veteran Battlefield player and I’m pretty fed up with all these negative comments. Being most of them true about how the game was one year ago, right now it’s the best multiplayer game of its genre. Now it’s really fun to play and it’s not fair no one consider all the work behind that!
All the fine tuning introduced in the last patches is truly palpable and anyone playing now can see there are a lot of newcomers joining the game.
GTA is great, I also play it, but it’s a different game. And forget about other multiplayer FPS, I’ve tried them all and BATTLEFIELD 4 IS THE BEST BY FAR.
So, again, enough of people crying and cursing in the comments.
This is the first comment I post here, though I always read all of them. I just want some of the happy Battlefield players out there like me take the time to post real comments about the game.
As for Final Stand release, I’m pretty excited about it and there I will be playing it the moment it’s available.
    See you in the Battlefield…

I agree that other FPS games dont come close to real BF games (BF2142, BF3, BF4)…

I expected something in the lines of BF2142 in the latest DLC or at least something creative /sci fi/futuristic. Instead I experienced a snow jet ski. Wow.

2142 had so much game logic that made it unique… its a pitty that they can’t even do commander right almost 10 years later – and thats just one of the features that made it feel like multi player. BF4 and BF3 don’t even allow you to ask for backup from the comma rose.

I guess DICE was a one hit wonder with 2142….

I have been negative here for sure in the past, yet after the last big patch it has finally become enjoyable to play and as infantry, definitely more so than BF3 which was crap (I continued playing BC2). I now even enjoy Metro and Lockers and have now clocked more hours since the big patch came out than I have done previously all together since BF4 came out.

The occasional crash still happens but apart from that I enjoy it thoroughly now.

I still won’t buy Hardline though. Can’t be bothered with cops and robbers. Me and my mates want a successor to BF1942 on the PC!

aight long time waiting for this damn DLC now is 1,29 GB wtf that’s a joke? Looks like two guys from DICE are working BTF4($) in a small room and the rest are with porno, drugs and some Hardline (more drugs)…
