Everything you need to know about BF4 Final Stand
A few days ago, the last official Battlefield 4 expansion, Final Stand, became available to all players (including non-Premium members). We’ve created a quick run-down on everything you need to know about Battlefield 4 Final Stand, from its new maps, to weapons, and more. Read on!
Final Stand is set in the Siberian out-lands, and features snowy landscapes and secret military installations. The expansion pack is a sort of prologue to BF2142, since many of the new weapons and gadgets are early predecessors to those found in 2142. For example, the Rorsch Mk-1 railgun is based on the Rorsch stationary anti-vehicle gun found in 2142.
Since Final Stand features a winter setting, 3 out of the 4 maps are covered in snow, the one exception being “Giants Of Karelia”.
New weapons and vehicles
Final Stand brings a bunch of new weapons and vehicles, and most of those are sci-fi-themed, such as the new hovertank and the new railgun.
Final Stand also brings some new gadgets as well, some of which are just as futuristic as the new hovertank and railgun. In addition to weapons and vehicles, Final Stand adds another 8 assignments and 5 achievements/Trophies for console players.
The expansion is now available to non-Premium owners, who must pay $15 for the privilege. As usual, it’s free to Premium members. And be sure to also check out the last DLC, called Dragon’s Teeth. Matter of fact, you can find a full breakdown of all the Battlefield 4 DLC available.
