Battlefield 4 Attachments and Accessories

Battlefield 4 attachments and accessoriesBattlefield 4 Attachments and Accessories include a variety of items, ranging from scopes, to laser sights, to grips, and more. Attachments and Accessories in Battlefield 4 can be unlocked and used on almost every weapon featured in the game. Typically, the attachments have to be unlocked for each weapon individually — the more you play with the weapon, the more attachments and accessories are unlocked and become available. Most of the attachments and accessories are unlocked depending on how many kills the player has with the particular weapon, but some are based on the assignments as well.

Battlefield 4 Attachments and Accessories breakdown

The Battlefield 4 Attachments and Accessories come in three main categories: scopes, barrel attachments, and under-barrel attachments. Each weapon has a variety of different scopes, from simple iron sights, to more powerful optics. However, the most powerful scopes are only reserved to sniper rifles. Barrel attachments include the heavy barrel, and a variety of suppressors/silencers and grips. Rocket launchers are the only weapons that cannot use traditional unlocks listed below.

Grips list

The game offers a wide variety of weapon grips and other attachments that are added to the under-barrel rail slot. While all grips in the game are different visually, some of them share the same properties and have the same effect on the gameplay. The grips in the game can be added to assault rifles, carbines, SMGs, and some sniper rifles as well.

Accessories and Attachments tips

Battlefield 4 accessories and attachments exampleAttachments and accessories each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the map and situation, players should consider the best possible loadout of Attachments and Accessories. For example, tight, infantry-based maps will make better use of the laser sight and suppressor, rather than a heavy barrel. Different attachments work differently depending on the weapon. For example, a recoil-reducing muzzle break is more effective on weapons with powerful recoil. In addition to attachments, players can add a variety of different camos to their weapons.

Play style is also important to take into consideration when picking out accessories for your weapon. A stealthy player might prefer a silencer and angled grip, a more aggressive player might chose a heavy barrel and vertical grip. It’s also important to take the type of map into consideration. A more open map will require different accessories than an infantry-based map.

Different laser sights have different properties, and so do flash lights as well. The same goes for the variety of grips available in the game: all of them are different and each has their own set of advantages and disadvantages. The different types of suppressors all have the same function, their difference is largely cosmetic, as each faction has its own type of suppressor / silencer.

when in the weapon loadout press X and it will allow you to apply your upgrades.
If you’re playing on Playstation you would press Square.

I can’t seem to find the settings to mount the attachments on the weapons. I’m new to BF4. I go to the main menu, the sub menu, and there’s simply nowhere to be found the option to customize stuff. This game is too complicated.

Go to the TEST RANGE, there you can fix your weapons, put on different attachements, scopes etc. and try them out.
This is the place were you put on unlocked stuff on your vehicles aswell.

Good luck! See you on the Battlefield.

Sadly, when you buy the shortcut kit it only unlocks the weapons, gadgets, and specializations, none of the attachments. Sorry 🙁
