Battlefield 4 Engineer class

Battlefield 4 Engineer classThe Battlefield 4 Engineer class is a vehicle-focused class, with weapons suited for destroying enemy tanks, helicopters, jets, and more. The Engineer carries powerful anti-tank rocket launchers, and smaller carbines against enemy infantry.

Battlefield 4 Engineer class overview

The Engineer has always been the most specialized class in the series. The main focus is on engaging enemy vehicles with an array of rocket launchers. Or helping friendly vehicles by repairing and keeping them in combat.

The Engineer is also a well suited class for defense, as its carbines are great for close quarter infantry combat, its rocket launchers for taking out enemy vehicles. You can even place mines for protecting the area around the objective. Like all other classes, the Engineer can equip DMRs — designated marksman rifles — such as the M39, giving the class the ability to engage enemies at long rage. This makes the Engineer class one of the most versatile classes in the game, if not the most versatile class in the game.

Battlefield 4 Engineer class tips

Battlefield 4 engineer class renderThe Battlefield 4 Engineer class is perfect for those who are fond of using vehicles in the game. By playing Engineer, you can repair your own vehicle if damaged, and even if your vehicle is destroyed, you can still engage the enemy tank/APC with your rocket launcher.

Remember your defensive role as well: you have access to anti-tank mines. Place those around capture points and objectives. If it’s a map dominated by jets, use your anti-air launchers such as the Stinger and Igla.

If your play style is more offensive, you should equip the repair tool. If you’re more defensive-minded, you should use the anti-tank mines instead, and perhaps the anti-air missiles against enemy aircraft. Also consider the explosives perk, which doubles the amount of AT mines and rockets you can carry (usually from 3 to 6).

*Sigh, The first BF4 multiplayer trailer came out 4 days ago and no-one has bothered to add the new guns, the new weapon classes and the new class setup for the engineer. Engineers now use PDWs as primaries and carbines are universal weapons, along with shotguns, DMRs and pistols. Also, while you’re at it add a section on the new weapon and vehicle customisation, if you need a reference use Levelcap on youtube. I would do this myself but I don’t see an edit button.

I am sad to see that the EOD bot will not be returning. It is by far the most underrated gadget in the game.

There are so many BF4 weapons you have listed that aren’t in the game. M16A3, AN-94, AKS-74U, etc. are not in BF4 at all. How did you guys not know/see that?
