Battlefield 4 LAV-25The Battlefield 4 LAV-25 is an APC used by the US faction in the multiplayer part of Battlefield 4. The LAV-90 armored personnel carrier (or infantry fighting vehicle) can seat up to 6 soldiers, and features a heavy 25 mm cannon and several light machine guns. The Chinese counterpart to the LAV-25 is the ZBD-09.

The LAV-25 APC / IFV entered service in the early 1980s, and has since been used by the US and other armies around the world. The LAV-25 was first featured in BF2, where it was the main APC for the US side. Its main rivals in Battlefield 4 are the BMP-2 and the BTR-90, both Russian. The anti-air version of the vehicle is called the LAV-AD.

The LAV-25 in Battlefield 4 seats up to 6 soldiers and is well armed and armored as an assault vehicle. The LAV-25 can also be equipped with guided rocket launchers, which gives makes it usable against Battlefield 4 tanks as well.

Battlefield 4 LAV-25 tips

The LAV-25 is one of the fastest armored vehicles in the game, and is perfect for a squad to attack the objective. Its main gun is effective against infantry, even behind cover. The LAV-25 is well armored to sustain hits from several rockets and grenade launchers. However, it’s not intended for engaging enemy tanks such as the T-90 and M1 Abrams. For amphibious assault, the AMTRAC is much better armed than the LAV, even though the LAV can transverse water.

Battlefield 4 LAV-25 unlocks

The Battlefield 4 LAV-25 can be equipped with several unlocks. The most important one being the guided anti tank rocket, which is effective against enemy tanks and can disable a tank with just one hit from behind. Other unlocks include smoke screen and improved armoring.
