The Rex is a beast in BF4! Once I unlocked it in single player, I used it more as a primary weapon. In multiplayer, it actually has decent range on it.

Nope! To make it more realistic DICE implemented the delay like it is in real life, but i believe they have changed that now, so the delay happens after the shot is fired to make the pistol feel more responsive instead of pulling the trigger and waiting a bit for the bullet to actually fire.

Either you’re trolling, or you know absolutely nothing about centerfire ammunition.

Also, don’t forget that these are powerful enough to detonate mines. Something even the machine guns on the tanks won’t do.

The rex is ok i gess it has that delay plus low ammo i belive when u site it that the charicter should pull the hammer back removing the delay becase he could shoot it single action and when not sited the delay would happen becase he would shoot double action! not how it works in game but i wish thats how it worked

Have the stats been changed since this was written? It mentions much faster firing rate and reload rate the the .44, but both are listed as 255 round/min and only a .2 sec difference in reload…

Yes I’m pretty sure they did up the fire rate on a few pistols actually. Correct me if I’m wrong but I use a lot of pistols and it seemed after this last update the fire rate was turned up atleast a little.

I literally use the Rex Pistol when I’m sniping and can’t reload my sniper fast enough I switch to the Rex an aim right where I had the sniper kill every time as long as you hit them once with your sniper.
