Battlefield 4 MRAP (Cougar)
The Battlefield 4 MRAP is an armored transport vehicle used by the US forces in the game. The Cougar MRAP in Battlefield 4 is similar to the Humvee, but is much better armored and better protects its occupants. Just like the Humvee, the Battlefield 4 MRAP seats 4 soldiers: 1 driver, 1 gunner, and 2 passengers. The Battlefield 4 MRAP is also known as the Cougar in the real world.
The MRAP was first introduced in 2002 as a larger, more armored troop transport to support the Humvee. It also goes under the name Cougar. The MRAP is almost twice as large, and twice as heavy. This makes the Battlefield 4 Cougar somewhat slower and less maneuverable, but is much better protected against enemy gunfire and rockets. It’s available in both 4×4 and 6×6 configuration.
