Battlefield 4 Platoons
Battlefield 4 Platoons are a “clan” like feature where players can join different platoons, which makes it easier to play together and organize matches. Platoons in Battlefield 4 are similar to BF3, where players use Battlelog to create and manage their platoons.
Battlefield 4 Platoons are open to all players — anyone can create a platoon and apply to join one. The previous game in the series, BF3, had over 1 million Platoons created during its lifetime.
Battlefield 4 Platoons features
Unlike the Commander and the Squads in the game, Platoons have little effect on teamwork. Rather, they’re meant to be like “clans”, where players can join groups and play together, compare stats, share media, and more.
One of the big Battlefield 4 Platoon features is that players can create their own emblems on Battlelog, which will be applied in-game to vehicles such as tanks, helicopters etc., showing off the Platoon.
Players who create Battlefield 4 Platoons can assign leaders to manage other members, they can add a custom emblem to their platoon, they can show their statistics and awards for the platoon players only.
Players can also become “fans” of platoons if they are unable to join. Currently, Platoons are limited to 100 players at a time. Battlefield 4 Platoons are available on all platforms, and are managed via Battlelog on the PC and mobile devices.
