Battlefield 4 Singleplayer – Features, Missions & More

Battlefield 4 Singleplayer Gameplay

The Battlefield 4 singleplayer campaign will focus more on player freedom compared to the previous campaign. This time, the singleplayer will resemble more like Bad Company, where players get an objective and are free to chose how to attack it.

The Battlefield 4 singleplayer campaign will still feature quick-time and scripted events. However, they will be featured to a much lesser degree than last time. Unlike its predecessor, the game will not feature co-op, which was a separate campaign where two players could play together. Some of the singleplayer locations will be featured as Battlefield 4 multiplayer maps.

Battlefield 4 singleplayer features

Unlike last time, the Battlefield 4 singleplayer will follow a single soldier throughout the entire campaign. The player will be part of an elite squad, tackling missions around the world.

The story features several locations around the world, including Azerbaijan, China, and North America. The plot is centered around a rogue Chinese General and, like always, the Russians are involved as well.

Battlefield 4 singleplayer videos and screenshots

The very first Battlefield 4 singleplayer video shows off several missions in the beginning of the campaign. The player finds himself stuck in a sinking car in a lake, and later we see how we arrived at that point.

The video shows several locations from the Battlefield 4 singleplayer campaign, including wide open deserts with construction going on, to abandoned warehouses, to a dense city, and more. Check out the full video below, followed by some screenshots.
