Battlefield 4 unlocks

Battlefield 4 unlocksUnlocks are given when players go through the Battlefield 4 ranks. Each rank unlocks either a weapon, specialization, gadget, or dog tag. Players can also unlock items by completing certain in-game objectives.

Battlefield 4 unlocks can also be obtained by completing some of the Battlefield 4 assignments, which usually reward players with a new weapon. Some unlocks are also released via DLC and expansion packs, both for weapons, soldiers, and vehicles as well.

Battlefield 4 weapon unlocks

Weapons are the most prized Battlefield 4 unlocks. They are usually unlocked by ranking up — the more you play, the more weapons you get. Class specific weapons can only be unlocked by playing with the specific class. For example, if you want to unlock a weapon for your Engineer, you have to play as Engineer in order to get the weapon. For a complete rundown of all the weapon unlocks, check out the attachments and accessories.

Specific weapon unlocks

Players can unlock specific accessories for their weapons as they play. These accessories range from flashlights, to scopes, to silencers and more. The more kills the player achieves with each weapon, the more unlocks that specific weapon will get. See the Battlefield 4 weapon list for a complete breakdown of all the guns found in the game.

Battlefield 4 specialization unlocks

Players can unlock “specializations”, which enable the player to get an advantage in a particular area. For example, a specialization might be the ability to carry an extra grenade, or extra ammunition, to better sprinting abilities, etc. Specializations are also available for squads.

Battlefield 4 vehicle unlocks

Each of the vehicles has its own set of unlocks. The more points you earn with each vehicle, the more unlocks you’ll get. Vehicle unlocks can be anything from better armor and secondary gun (Tanks and APCs), to flares and better radar (Jets), to guided missiles (Helicopters).

Battlefield 4 gadget unlocks

Gadgets are unlocked by the different classes. For example, players will have to earn points as the Engineer class in order to unlock anti-tank mines, or rocket launchers etc. The more you play with a class, the more weapons and gadgets you unlock. For more, check out a complete lineup of Battlefield 4 gadgets and equipment.

Other Battlefield 4 unlocks

General Battlefield 4 unlocks include soldier camouflage, as well as weapon camos. Additionally, players can unlock dog tags by completing certain tasks, such as amassing 100 kills with a certain weapon in order to get that weapon dog tag. Unlocks are also offered in bundles, such as the Battlefield 4 Battlepacks.

Owners of Premium get exclusive unlocks in form of weapons, soldier camouflage, dog tags, and more. These unlocks are usually received when completing the assignments.

The best way I like, in my opinion is going on battlelog and looking at my weapons. Usually its should show what attachments you unlock next with that specific weapon and when your done unlocking all attainable attachments. Every 50 kills with that weapon give you a battlepack only focusing on attachments for that weapon, sometimes if your lucky. You can get superior camos, and even 50%, 100%, or 200% experience boost. My best tip to give is if you using a gun. Stick with it. It makes up in the long run! 🙂
