Several suggestions for the new website.

    1. Start a registered website membership roster so posters don’t always have to have their posts moderated before they are posted. It looks like you don’t trust your readers to make posts worth reading or you fear our comments. That looks bad. The majority of your readers are adults… treat them like adults.

    2. Give your posters an EDIT button, so we can correct our spelling mistakes in our posts. Posters should have a chance to make small corrections in their posts when needed. See how FaceBook does this.

    3. Start a player FORUM for your website readers! I’ve never had any real connection with BF Central over the years. “You publish a new article… I read it… I leave and come back next week.” Many game media news websites have Forums for readers to visit to discuss the articles they’ve just read. If you want your readers to come back several times during the day or week and live here… give us a reason too. As of now… I stop by here about once a week. There just hasn’t been enough reason to stop here more than that in the past.

    4. Use the FACEBOOK mod system for your articles for posters to react to an article. Your proprietary posting system and all this “Moderation First” before it gets posted… makes me not want to bother posting at all.

    5. If your website is going to post videos with your articles… for God’s sake… use the YouTube mod framed system for your videos… and NOT your own website’s proprietary video viewing system. None of the custom proprietary video viewing systems work well enough to even bother watching. YouTube is the standard… go with the standard!!

I have published, managed and moderated websites for years. I hope my experience will help with your new look.

    Good Luck!!
